So many animals got lost and badly injured and even died due to trying to escape out of fear of fireworks.
People are selfish and don't think of the trauma they cause our beloved fur kids. It's not worth the pain and suffering of helpless innocent animals!

We are the voice for and on behalf of all animals suffering due to fireworks. Money wasted on fireworks could have been better spent on food and shelter for animals, and at the same time doing something good instead of something horrific.

Please do the right thing for a change and ban all fireworks! Fireworks causes unnecessary harm to innocent animals. Some animals even loose their lives because humans want an hour of fun that cause so much flippin damage. Children also get injured and are often very scared by these extremely loud noises. It pollutes the environment which we are already experiencing changes seem in our weather because of global warming. And not to mention that it's a complete waste of MONEY! This money can instead be given to animals and people in complete need of help! It is beyond me why fireworks have not been banned already!

I think fireworks are uneccessary as they terrify all animals domestic and wild and I love all animals more than humans. I have a 7 year old GSD male who becomes so destressed even form one bang, he pants, hyperventilates so I have to put one of my T-shirts on him and just try and comfort him, I never leave any of my animals alone at this time, all 4 dogs and 4 cats are inside. You cannot explain to them they are safe. It also affects the elderly and the very small children and the noise pollution is not acceptable just for some peoples idea of fun.

Can we not get the email addresses of the Idiots in the City Council that went against the Fireworks Bi-laws and legalised Fireworks from 23:00 (31st Dec to 01:00 & then again 19:00 to 22:00 on the 01 Jan?
Once we have their email addresses I suggest everyone on FB emails them the hundreds of lost and found and hurt animals.

Animals do not have to go through this trauma for a few selfish non caring humans who have no sympathy for animals well being. Events can be celebrated with out the necessity of having fireworks

I feel very strongly that fireworks, although pretty, should be banned ALL OVER THE WORLD !!!!!! Animals cannot speak for themselves, they have feelings and are also part of this planet and respect should be shown to them. If I could I would save all the animals somehow, somewhere I would. I am for animal rights 100%!

I support this petition because fireworks in residential areas cause traumatised and injured animals and are dangerous to everyone - including people who set them off. Leave it to professionals in a properly designated and safe area where no animals will be affected.
