DV act is unconstitutional as it violates Artile 14 of Indian Consitituion. This treats males as second class citizens. No society can prosper who looks down on a section of its society.
More over, even if husband has proof of not committing any crime, he has to pay maintaince.

Thanks a lot for bringing this up.
Since its inception, the DV Act has been a tool of extortion helping all wrong people to make more and more Husbands and their families a victim of poor laws.
PWDVA - Power of Wife to Destroy with Violent Acts (destroy Husband, his family, the family structure itself)

A total family getting destroyed because of false 498-A, DV, Crpc 125 cases for the reason to extract money from the husband. I request to punish the people who file false cases against husband and their family and stop maintenance if wife is educated.

DVA is highly gender biased and has no protection for other members of family other than married women. DVA should be made gender neutral as more & more voilence against men is coming into light these days like threating them with 498A, DVA, etc. which all amounts to Domestic Voilence.

How long should innocent be simply punished for being innocent?
How long the court cases go on and on till a life is lost in the husband's house?
How long the Government tests the patience of patient people while they suffer simply for no fault of their's?
It is time for the foolish law makers to wake up?
Due to 498a and DV laws women haters are increasing in India.
Every woman is looked upon as a witch, who will make a good man or a bad man suffer equally.

We the men are a new force of women haters. because we have seen the dirtiest face of women. Dv 2005 is powerful tool with bad women. they are using this as that way what they want. they are exploiting and doing everything with boy family. because they know that Dv 2005 has given them that power through that they can do anything with boy family.

This is an utter biased law with no respite of false case to the victim husband. The worst part is that an abusive wife can file a false complaint and get the interim residence order and maintenance order and never appear before court for cross examination. Another flaw is that the statement of the woman is taken as gospel truth and is taken as evidence against the innocent husband.

Most of the well qualified women's are using this law to extort money from their husbands in order to feed their brothers and sisters and to harass their husbands in hour of need also.

Using this law womens are able to make their children deprived of their parents love and affection. This law is very very loosely drafted!!! District court, High court needs to see the evidence in support not on prima facie on women words the husbands their families need to bear the sufferings and curse.

This law only protects women. In todays society men are also being harrassed but we dont have section in law which can help us. This law should be either scrapped or should be made gender neutral. Law can not just protect people based on gender or discriminate a section of people based on their gender
