STOP THE MOSQUE/ISLAMIC CENTRE IN YORK

 Ever been to the Parish? It's a church that has been turned into a night club in the center of York. Just pointing that out.

I wouold agree that the muslim community should have a place to worship, like all other faiths in the city of York. In some other space where it is not so built up. Bull Lane is definitely NOT the place because it is in the centre of a tightly fitted residential area and a larger mosque will naturally bring more traffic and a lot more worshippers than at present. The infra-structure simply cannot cope with this and the present residents should not be subjected to such a disruption. In addition, this project is likely to attract a great deal of protestors and I would not like to see this beautiful city of York descending into such chaos and horrific scenes as we saw in August 2011. Thank you for this opportunity LA

No need for even more mosques, any building will suffice so that this cult can have its day kneeling on the floor.

If built, I certainly won't go there as a tourist any more. Before we know it the Cathedral will be a mosque. Guys, get your heads out of your bottoms and do a bit of thinking will you? If any of you are or know of any pig farmers, buy a couple of their carcuses and simply bury the pig where the mosque is going to be. Islamic law says that it cant build a mosque on ground that has been tainted by a pig. This has also worked in part of rural Spain. It has to be publicised though. Get digging guys, it may also have a positive effect on the meat/pork industry as pig farmers wont have islamic shit rammed down its throat.

Another hideous carbuncle of a building in one of the most beautifull cities in the world ...no thanks , mosques belong in islamic countrys not in civilized nations .

there is enough mosques in england. they are capable if traveling .the paitents of the childrens heart unit at leeds have to travel so why carnt they.

there is no need for this building in york ,there are existing mosques already that already accomidate the muslim community in york .this proposed building will just bring in more muslims to our city.i have been to the existing mosque at bull lane many times on a friday to see 4 my self the numbers that they claim go there and have never witnessed these over inflated numbers.
