Save teddy from being put down

Please don't generalize. We fight racism, police brutality, etc. Please don't euthanize a living being for being a specific breed, color, etc.

Because dogs should not be judged by breed. They should be judged by how they were socialized and trained. A Chihuahua can be much meaner and more apt the bite. It's not about the breed!

It is a misnomer to use the cute, soft and completely incorrect term 'put down. Say the truth! He will be KILLED for no other reason than lack of education on the part of the humans. It's dispicable.

Because not all pit bulls are bad it's not the dog its the owner's and how they treat the dog I don't believe that Teddy should be put down because of the breed

Because this dog has done nothing wrong and his life or death should not be decided upon because he is, supposedly, a specific breed. This is outrageous.

It's truly unforeseen to put down this dog for no reason!

My family includes two rescue dogs, both of whom are pit mixes. To think of them being torn away from me is unimaginable. I hope the authorities come to their senses, and send this beautiful dog home to his loving family. This kind of senseless actions make me ashamed to be half British.

There needs to be a fair & just way to with each dog.

This is the least that I could do to save Teddy and reunite him with his family. I hope this helps.

Because every dog deserves a chance......and teddy has never shown aggressiveness. ......plus I think it's the way they are raised by the owner that makes a dog who it is and it's behaviour towards people ..... NOT the breed

Breed specific legislation has proven to not work and clearly this dog has not shown any aggression. This would be murder of an innocent dog.

What the hell is wrong with you? This is someone's pet! The dog is not vicious! GIVE HIM BACK TO HIS FAMILY!

Bans are ridiculous against a breed. humans are the responsible ones in the equation

I feel the decision to remove an innocent dog from its owner to be destroyed if it doesn't pass the test given is totally wrong, this dog will be at present locked away in a strange place away from the person he trusts and loves and will be alone confused and frightened and he's expected to pass a test by a total stranger to whom he won't know or trust I think owner should be present so Teddy can feel at ease and not scared

Because I do not believe in a healthy animal being put down without good reason.

Because there are too many bull breeds being pts because of ignorance.

You cannot put a healthy dog down because it 'might' be a banned breed.

It's cruel what these people are doing

I think it's sickening and they should just get over it and send the dog home back to its family and focus more on really important matters not a breed ban .It's 2016 GET OVER IT

It makes me angry, to see an animal being taken away from a loving and caring family. That dog has done no wrong, shame on the officer who snatched this loving dog away from his owner.
SHAME ON THE POLICE, get this dog home pronto. There are plenty of criminals out there and they should be your priority, not an innocent dog.

Please don't put Teddy down. He deserves to be loved by his family...Thank you!
