I signed this petition because The Big Bopper really deserves to be in The Rock & Roll Of Fame. He should have been in from the very start. Besides writing number one songs for George Jones ("White Lightnin'") and Johnny Preston ("Running Bear"), his "Chantilly Lace" has become a classic and has really stood the test of time. Besides being a very popular disk jockey he went on to create some of the very first rock and roll videos.

I am 68 years old an I can remember him on radio and his songs. I am so glad your doing this his songs are some of my favorite! Come on Beaumont get with it! JP started Rock and Roll!

Jp jr, Patty, Ashlyn, little Jay, and Thomas were a second family to me. They deserve to see it happen since the Big Bopper Jr was unable to. God bless you and the my sweet Richardson family.

My son just met you in Dallas today and i'm glad to see you doing this for the big Bopper's legacy. Im glad my son had a chance to see his grandfather's legacy and be a part of the documentary. This has been a long time coming. Thank you
