The 49er legacy was built on the California gold rush. As a fan, no gold doesn't say 49er football. I've waited years for a black jersey... Just not without GOLD

I signed this petition because I feel like gold is A SIGNIFICANT representation of our team. We are MINERS who mine for none other than GOLD!!! I'm originally from Arizona and have been a fan for over 30 years. When Arizona got a team, cardinals. I couldn't imagine cheering for them. This girl is 49er faithful all the way!! When I see the alternate jerseys I'm reminded of the Arizona Cardinals.. LET'S BE TRUE TO OUR COLORS!!!

Like everyone else i dont like just the black and red and we need gold in those jerseys. I actually just prefer the all gold jerseys.

I felt the exact same way as the creator when I saw the new design. I think the design is great but the lack of accent color leaves the chest and bottom feeling separate from the helmet as well as feeling out of place to not have another traditional color in with the jersey and the pants. Might I also suggest adding gold or white trim in between the red stripes on the arms.

I've been a Niner fan since watching at my father's knee, I'll be 60 in September.
There's NOTHING like the pride I feel when I see the red and gold hit the field.
ANY field.
I don't want to see black AT ALL.
But if it's to be, please, for the love of God and all 49er HISTORY, throw in some extra GOLD!!
THAT'S why I signed the petition.
