Tessa needs to be forced to resign.  There is no place in government, even city government, for that kind of conduct.  Tessa needs to do a little more growing up and understand that having a 13 year old temper tantrum is not the kind of person who needs to be working in any type of city position.  The city council needs to be forced to attend leadership classes and sensativity training.  It is enough, it is time for city officials to pay for their conduct of unbecoming.  Take out the trash.  Too many of the same people are getting elected and it is time for term limits.

It's pretty obvious the town has been corrupt for years. It's no wonder the community has been dying for years. The town finally gets a truly great man as there officer and of course he makes everyone happy not just a select few and he's considered a bad officer. I think the city council needs to look in the mirror before pointing fingers. Thanks an old resident of Belgrade that loves the community just not the clique. #dereksawesome

I believe the city of Belgrade needs to start looking at who they are voting for. Just due to "Belgrade status" is not the reason to vote in council members. This is completely out of hand and needs to be dealt with.

I left Belgrade in 1980s, but I still keep up with everything, because it is my hometown. Tesa is not an elected member, but I do believe that she should be let go. As far as the city council members, I do think that they should all resign. I watched the video and was suprised to see all the stuttering and stammering by all of them.  Kudos to Ozzie,  Darrin and all of the others who spoke up!

I was not here when this became an issue, and I acknowledge that there are two sides to every story. I have not workeed with Betty or Dan as employees or fellow members of the City Council, so I don't know where this is all coming from.Betty has been kind to me when I visited the nursing home, and Dan has always been pleasant as a member of Crow River and about town.I just wanted to stand up for Derrick, as I have known him for 10 years and he has been a great guy.Also a terrific police officer and probably a terrific Chief.Keep up the good work, Chief Derrick.
