If you live in the Far North of Chicago (or frequent the area), you know all too well what a pain it is to get from Edgewater Beach to Andersonville and back.
Edgewater has spent decades shaking their fists at their lucky neighboring communities who have bus lines that can go east and west to contect the coast and the inland.
This petition seeks to create a new CTA bus line to remedy that. Starting at the bus depot at Clark and Devon, the bus will go east on Devon, south on Sheridan, west on Foster, and north on Clark/Ashland, in both directions with frequent service.
This line will connect major residential and commercial districts, including Loyola University, the Sheridan highrises, Hollywood and Foster Beaches, connections to Broadway, Andersonville shops, and the queer district at Devon and Clark.
Help us do away with the days of awkward and unreliable transfers between the 151 and the 92 buses, or having to walk up to 30min one way within our own neighborhood.
