COMPEL TARGET TO ACCEPT THE MILITARY DISCOUNT
Recently, at a visit to a Super Target location in Warrenville, Illinois I discovered that the Target Corporation does NOT accept the military discount. A gentleman, with a tiny baby nestled to his chest quietly asked a "team member" at the checkout if they accepted the military dicsount. The clerk told him that Target does not accept the military discount. It turns out the gentleman was in the Navy and was shipping out shortly to Japan. He was buying the last family purchase of diapers, formula and other sundries before he left. According to Wikipedia,Target generated 73 billion dollars in revenue and made 3 BILLION dollars in profit for 2013. In addition, they sponsor NASCAR, which is a pro military orgainzation. I would like Target to support America by offering the military discount to those who protect and serve our country.
