#202

I do not agree with mandatory mandates for the vaccine nor the booster.

Kim Weedon (Westminster, 2022-01-15)

#203

No student should be told what to put in their body!!!

Colleen Roux (Brookeville , 2022-01-15)

#205

This is unnecessary for college students. The vaccines have shown to be highly ineffective. Even the CDC admits that they cannot stop the spread so there is no point. Masks and vaccines have not worked for the past two years they are not going to work if you keep doing them. Its time to stop the madness and get on with our lives.

Garrett Blakely (Leonardtown, 2022-01-15)

#206

It should be all about medical CHOICES!! Not to feel guilty from others about what your choice to be vaccinated or unvaccinated . (Yes I am vaxxed)

James Huband (Damascus , 2022-01-15)

#210

Medical freedom is a constitutional right

Allison Leatherbury (Baltimore , 2022-01-15)

#214

I do not support these Mandates!!!

Deanie Jacobs (Baltimore , 2022-01-15)

#216

I don’t think s child should have yo be vaccinated to attend college

Ruth Jordan (Peconic , 2022-01-15)

#220

Over reach of power

Amy Wagner (Bel Air, 2022-01-15)

#221

I believe in freedom and bodily autonomy.

Debbie Stadnik (Greensboro , 2022-01-15)

#223

I’m against vaccine/booster mandates!
Young people don’t need them!
Whoever wants to get it, let them get it!
No mandate!

Salomea Chereysky (Rockville, 2022-01-16)

#224

I have two children that would like to attend a Maryland instate school. They finish this spring at community college but due to all the Covid mandates, they are not going to college and getting any vaccine!!

Melanie Preston (Frederick, 2022-01-16)

#226

No medical mandates! Imagine if a different president was in power, would you give them power to force you to take a vaccine or any other medicine? Where there's a risk, there should be a choice. Risk of vaccine injury is not negligible, so give people the choice to say NO or YES to this.

Tichakunda Mangono (TAKOMA PARK, 2022-01-16)

#227

There are risks to the children.

Sergio Galindo (Millstone Township, 2022-01-16)

#229

I believe it is unconstitutional to mandate something that goes against people's individual rights!

Helen Breland (Glendale, 2022-01-16)

#235

I am signing because my daughter attends Frostburg State University. This is now out of control and does not make any clear scientific sense. My child has been sick since she received her vaccine that she felt forced to take and as an 18-year-old I could not stop her. But I will be damned if I do not continue my fight.

Jennifer Smith (Brunswick, 2022-01-16)

#236

Many students have had COVID — they have natural immunity. Do NOT tell me you believe fauci and the cdc. The shots don’t stop the spread, they don’t keep people from contracting COVID, they’re ineffective.

Catherine Kenar (Wailuku, 2022-01-16)

#237

I do not agree with legislating mandates.

Theodore McCord (Annapolis , 2022-01-16)

#242

The mandates are an over reach & accomplish nothing while causing damage to too many people

Terry Cook (Westminster, 2022-01-16)

#244

After a year of mass vaccinating people, there have been reports that s
transmissions are not stopped by vaccines. Everyone is or will get COVID, All people should have the choice to decide their medical decisions, but must certainly, healthy people.

Maria Gonzalez (Severna Park, 2022-01-16)

#250

Mandates are unconstitutional. I personally know people at that school who have been vaccinated and boosted and have concerns about getting a third and fourth base or in less than a year.

Criste May (Timonium, 2022-01-16)

#251

My child is considering Maryland schools for next year - am not going to attend Maryland schools if this becomes a requirement

Bird Dawson (Alexandria , 2022-01-16)

#253

Everyone deserves the right to choose, without coercion, what medical interventions they choose for their bodies.

Stephanie Gaiser (Brunswick, 2022-01-16)

#257

I am a UMD alum and current faculty. I specifically oppose the booster mandate as it is absolutely unsupported by scientific evidence of benefit to those not at high risk, and may cause potential harm.

Chrissa Carlson (Baltimore, 2022-01-16)

#263

I’m signing because the overwhelming body of evidence shows that our currently available vaccines are not slowing the transmission of Covid-19! I am a critical care RN and I am opposed to this mandate! I wish that people who want to follow would actually do so without bias. The vaccines and booster are simply not effective in prevention of transmission.

Lindsey Buhl (Damascus, 2022-01-16)

#266

Vaccination should be a choice not a mandate. Medical professionals should open their hearts and minds and do some research regarding the potential LONG TERM effects of the vaccine especially after an individual has recently had Covid (and is then being. FORCED to get the booster).

Valerie Certeza (Towson , 2022-01-16)

#267

I believe that vaccine mandates interfere with freedom and bodily autonomy. I have no disagreement with people who wish to be vaccinated but believe coercion and forcible vaccination are incompatible with a free society.

Joseph Karey (Towson, 2022-01-16)

#271

I have friends with children at Maryland universities and a child who is at CCBC and plans to transition to a Maryland 4 year university.

Laura Karey (Towson, 2022-01-16)

#276

I’m signing because I believe it’s a right of any adult to choose whether or not they get a vaccine.

Cris Blasetti (Baltimore , 2022-01-16)

#279

the vaccines are not effective in stopping spread, so there's no basis for mandating them in the name of public health. It's a personal health decision and no one should be questioned or discriminated against for their choice. USM is also leading the way for other schools, none of which should be continuing to force vaccine mandates.

KIMBERLEY THORPE (Keymar, 2022-01-16)

#280

I'm a nurse who worked the covid unit and have seen first hand how deadly covid can be. I'm also a parent who has children that all had covid, and whose doctor's have recommended they don't get the vaccine due to a greater risk than benefit of the vaccine. As the parent of prospective students, this mandate contradicts the medical advice I've received from their doctor. As a nurse, this mandate contradicts how medical decisions should be made. Please reconsider.

Laura VanDelden (Frederick, 2022-01-16)

#282

This healthy age group should not be forced to receive this vaccine. It does not prevent anyone from getting or transmitting Covid. We do not know the long-term effects of the vaccine and vaccine injuries are happening every day, but they are being silenced. I am for free choice only!

Annette Meyers (Westminster, 2022-01-16)

#289

It's UN-American to mandate anything!!! Read the Constitution! We are a free people!!

Robyn Sprague (LaPlata , 2022-01-16)

#290

I'm signing because medical decisions should be a private personal decision between an individual and their doctor.

Sara Casareto (Olney, 2022-01-16)

#291

I’m signing because these mandates are illegal. You have a right over your own body to decided if you should take a medication or treatment and should not be penalized for your decision. The vaccines are showing they don’t work, people fully vaccinated are still getting Covid. There is no point to these mandates, the vaccine doesn’t even work. Natural acquired immunity is best.

Shannon Wink (Chesapeake Beach, 2022-01-16)

#292

No mandates for vaccines that are dangerous anyone, especially younger people. Choice!!

Patricia Szuba (Pasadena, 2022-01-16)

#293

I’m signing because my son was on scholarship at CCBC to play baseball. He had a legitimate medical exemption that they have denied. As a result, he had to transfer to another school without a vaccine mandate. He is devastated and we have take a financial loss.

Stephanie Watkins (Jefferson , 2022-01-16)

#301

I am against mandated vaccines I am vaccine injured

Megan Harmon (Odenton, 2022-01-16)

#302

The vaccine has been proven and even stated it doesn’t work. You are showing medical segregation is your main priority. I am ashamed that anything like this is going on, next you will require the yellow star for those who don’t comply. Shame on you!!

Brandi Lokey (Berlin, 2022-01-16)

#303

My Granddaughter goes to Towson University and does not want to return after winter break because of this mandate. She had a severe reaction to second shot and ended up getting covid anyway. This situation has completely ruined her college education and experience. Pleas stop this mandate!

Miriam Bevan (Landenberg, 2022-01-16)

#307

I'm signing because everyone deserves the right to bodily autonomy.

Jessica Helms (Capitol Heights , 2022-01-17)

#308

My son will be attending in the near future and we will not comply.

Sarah Meyer (Gaithersburg, 2022-01-17)

#313

I’m signing because mandating anyone to get these horrible death producing so called vaccines is illegal and against the Nuremberg laws and our United States constitution!!! Anyone pushing or administering these “vaccines” WILL be held accountable for their actions!!! Death by hanging was the result of those found guilty of the first Nuremberg trials!!!

Virginia Cannan (Hagerstown , 2022-01-17)

#318

Vaccines are a personal medical choice.

Jenn Reedholm (Cockeysville, 2022-01-17)

#323

My son is a junior there he’s already had Covid twice and I do not want him to have to get the booster to continue to go to school there. He’s healthy and young and there’s no evidence that the booster will prevent him from getting it or spreading it anyways.

Debbie Vazzana (Olney, 2022-01-17)

#325

The original vaccine mandate for the University of Maryland school system was outrageous. Now including in that mandate a booster shot is beyond fathomable.

Linda Diefenbach (Middletown , 2022-01-17)

#327

I am the parent of a student at Salisbury University and am against the booster mandate.

Lisa Gundling (Rockville, 2022-01-17)

#329

We are in the process of researching colleges and are not considering any with shot or mask requirements.

We will not pay, nor submit to these unhelpful, and sometimes harmful, measures.

Individual medical decisions are not a one- sized- fits- all.

Being penalized for making informed medical decisions are rights enshrined in the constitution.

Crystal Kijesky (LaPlata, 2022-01-17)

#330

No one should be forced to get a vaccine! We have a right to make our medical decisions!

Taryn Thorne (Mount Airy, 2022-01-17)

#331

I am signing because I am extremely concerned about the immune health of the students. The vaccine was experimental to begin with and now we do have evidence that they are causing major problems. Heart issues , autoimmune issues, and cardiac arrest. Thank you Lisa Hughes

Lisa Hughes (Adamstown , 2022-01-17)

#332

This is a ridiculous requirement, considering there are a lot of people who don't want the jab. And realize the effectiveness is substandard.

Karen Wheatley (LaPlata, 2022-01-17)

#335

All of my children are slated to attend the College of Southern Maryland when they graduate high school because that is the most affordable option for us. I don’t know how we would afford college for our four children without it. They will move onto another public institution in our state, like UMD, because CSM provides that option practically seamlessly.

Requiring a shot that has questionable benefits and potential life-threatening side effects, particularly for our young people, is irresponsible. You are not allowing the basic freedom to choose what is medically right for them. At the same time, you are taking away an opportunity for higher education for those of us who can’t afford private schools or out-of-state tuition. You are putting MD residents in between a rock and a hard place.

Stop this madness now.

Karen Cross (Bryantown, 2022-01-17)

Many children and adults can be harmed by this and other experimental procedures or therapies. This vaccine has in no way been shown to have sterilizing properties to absolve the viral load, nor have you taken due recourse in matters of natural immunity and how that affects the population.

The Supreme Court has struck down the federal government's ability to force medical therapies on the population as a means for employment. If the federal government does not have authority on this issue, what implicit right is it that you have to do likewise?

This is more than a political issue, once the sovereignty of a person's body can be forcibly revoked due to any such arising issue as may be, that right to chosing what is best, healthy, or morally right for one's healthcare or that of their family's healthcare is forever shattered, at the whim of the powers that be.

I ask that you think on the past horrors of forced medical practices on groups throughout history, be it sterilization, experimental vaccination or disease mitigation practices, think of the horrors of concentration camps, and systematic depopulation efforts of autocratic regimes. Certainly these historical events are not unknown to you. Ask yourself how such civilized peoples could allow and enable such atrocities to occur? It begins with a small step, the separation of two groups. The clean vs unclean, the one race vs another, the ideals of one philosophy of thought vs the opposite. The 'vaccinated' vs the 'unvaccinated'?

The beginning to our undoing may lay at your doorstep. Which do you choose?

Julia Johnson (Hughesville , 2022-01-17)

#343

I am emphatically against the vaccinations and the boosters and I believe it is our constitutional right to make our own decisions when it comes to our bodies.

Karen Janowiak (Nottingham, 2022-01-17)

#349

I'm signing because the risk of vaccine associated myocarditis has been shown to be higher post 2nd & 3rd dose of Covid-19 vaccine, for males under 40, than is the risk of myocarditis post Covid-19 infection. Please see https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.12.23.21268276v1. Click the link to read full text pdf and please see the table on page 9.

Pamela Vincent (Accokeek, 2022-01-17)

#350

I am concerned that students with natural immunity or medical or personal reasons for not being vaccinated will be denied the opportunity of higher education. I am also concerned that they will go even further and require online students to be vaccinated as well.

Tired of the being told to wear a mask when they do not work. I want my kids to be kids and not have restrictions.

Tippett Mike (LaPlata , 2022-01-17)

#354

Stop these discriminatory measures. Non of this is for public health!

Victoria Millsaps (Prince Frederick, 2022-01-17)

#360

I would like my kids to be able to attend an affordable college in Maryland without having to worry about vaccine mandates. I will not send them to a college that mandates vaccines. These vaccines are extremely unsafe.

MaryAnne Walden (Crownsville, 2022-01-17)

#362

Unlawfull and illegal, force is not consent. Nuremberg code crimes against humanity. Human rights, life liberty and the pursuit. Freedom. Civil rights sec II.

Emma Arrington (nanjemoy, 2022-01-17)

#369

I’m a parent and disagree with all the mandates students are forced to live with, especially wearing masks and booster shots.

Carol Basore (Ocean View, 2022-01-17)

#370

These mandates are causing undue pressure on our students. Requiring weekly testing is an invasion on their bodies. They are not at high risk for severe complications and it is time they are allowed to get back to their lives and activities.

Kimberly Tutz (Hughesville, 2022-01-17)

#372

Implementing such mandates will only further divide and make the decision process that much easier when deciding where our children will attend higher education. There isn’t a price tag that can be put on freedom and the ability to makes decisions based on what is in the best interest of your family and loved ones.

Angela Bowling (Mechanicsville, 2022-01-17)

#375

I am totally 100% against anyone dictating what is right for my body and imposing a mandate on anyone else.

Debbie Schwenk (Dunkirk, 2022-01-17)

#379

Body autonomy and informed consent are inherent human rights

Rachel Tarp (Dayton, 2022-01-17)

#383

My son is a student and the unnecessary mandates are negatively affecting him. He has had Covid. Gotten vaccinated. And now has concerns w taking a booster.

Trish Lettieri (Ellicott City, 2022-01-17)

#388

I am sick if the overreach now. There is no scientific data regarding boosters. The CEO of Pfizer just said “doses 1 and 2 don’t do jogging and dose 3 offer little BUT hey our new one in March 2022 will deliver as promised” until it doesn’t.

Holly Agouridis (Silver Spring, 2022-01-17)

#390

Vaccines do not stop the spread. No mandates! Freedom of choice for medical treatments!

Stephanie Hession (Waldorf, 2022-01-18)

#391

Because the “vaccine” is NOT protecting anyone from getting COVID. Mandates have become nothing more than political statements & do not benefit or protect the health & safety of students & staff.

Tina Zibragos (Olney , 2022-01-18)

#392

I’m signing because I think this is a serious over reach and is also no longer warranted given the fact that vaccinated are now also widely getting and spreading Covid. There is new evidence supporting that boosters are not necessary and not good for the immune system.

Shannon Brown (Lothian, 2022-01-18)

#394

Medical mandates are communist and haw no place in our society, period!! Medical freedom and privacy is the backbone to a free nation.

Stacy Pedersen (Frederick , 2022-01-18)

#395

I’m signing as a concerned parent of 2 daughters that go to college within the University system.

Kim Sharpe (Towson , 2022-01-18)

#398

Shots are proven not to keep you from getting Covid or spreading it. No other vaccine in history does that. The vaccine works and you move on.

Masks are now proven in over 150 studies not to work.

It’s time to allow people the freedom to choose. There should never be force on medical decisions. Many people have died from the shot.
