Religion and state can NEVER be part of the same body. Even though traditions are important, ignorance is and can never be a tradition. Sadly religion has shifted 100% towards the side of ignorance. State should be about helping the people that live in it, not be a part of the clergy. We are 2021 people ... There is also not “one” true religion so any religious intervention in lawmaking is going to offend another religion.
