Protect the Trees and Undeveloped Land

The Township proposes cutting down trees to create a path behind people's residences. This will create a nuisance for the community and, most importantly, destroy the current ecosystem, which is untouched marshy land. If the trees are cut, it will destroy the root and mycelium network, and take away the home of the animals that live there, including deer, birds, foxes, turtles, frogs, and fish. Additionally, it will create more flooding. Humans are to be stewards. The township has many accessible parks and trails that currently exist. Destroying more of the natural world is unnecessary and will be harmful.
