Move Cyprus Forward

Traffic in Cyprus has reached a breaking point. Every day, thousands of people in Nicosia and Limassol lose precious time in standstill queues—students arriving late to school, workers stressed before the day even begins, parents spending hours on the road instead of with their families. What used to be a minor inconvenience has grown into a daily struggle that affects our wellbeing, our productivity, and the rhythm of life on our island.

Move Cyprus Forward is a public movement calling for real, practical improvements to how we travel. We’re asking for safer routes for walking and cycling, reliable buses people can actually depend on, smarter traffic flow, and better planning around school and work hours. These aren’t radical ideas—they’re simple steps that would bring immediate relief and long-term benefits.

This petition is about showing that citizens care. That we want cleaner air, shorter commutes, and cities where movement feels human again. That we believe Cyprus can do better, and that change begins when enough of us stand together and demand it.
