Support the return and participation of Hungary in the 71st Eurovision Song Contest in 2027.

Hungary was for many years a respected and valued participant in the the Eurovision Song Contest. Throughout its participation, numerous Hungarian artists were given the opportunity to present their talent before audiences across Europe and the wider world, while representing the cultural diversity, creativity, and musical heritage of Hungary.

Hungary last participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2019. Seven years have passed since then.

However, times evolve, and in 2026 Hungary has chosen to reaffirm its place within the European cultural community. Accordingly, the time has come for Hungary to return to the Eurovision Song Contest as well.

The Eurovision Song Contest is far more than a musical competition; it is a significant cultural platform that fosters dialogue and connection among the nations of Europe, provides emerging artists with an opportunity for international recognition, and directs positive international attention toward participating countries. Hungary’s renewed participation in this multicultural environment would once again allow Hungarian culture, artistic values, and musical diversity to be presented to an international audience.
