/ #282015-04-20 02:00I had planned on sending my girls to coburn next year because it is a community based school. My oldest daughter, who is in special education went to coburn elementary last year for kindergarten. i was nervous about sending her to school because i was worried that she would get bullied. she never once got bullied or picked on at coburn, she had friends and none of the teachers or staff tolerated any type of bullying. now she and her little sister go to a different school and they have been constanty bullied and picked on. the teachers have stated that its just "kids being kids". I have had to take matters into my own hands to get things under control at least with the issues on their bus. my girls recently expressed to me that they would like to go to coburn next year so that they can can have friends and be happy again. please don't close down the one school that my children really want to go to |
