My Vauxhall Corsa set on fire a few years ago due to a common Vauxhall fault which was not identified and repaired by the dealership I bought it from. Needless to say the car was a total write off and I was just fortunate that there wasn't more damage to cars and buildings around it. It is definitely concerning that Zafiras are facing the same issues and it is Vauxhall's responsibility to recall vehicles which clearly pose a risk to people's lives.

Well worth doing, VX have to change the blower motor plastic housing as in add a drain whole and change all motors above 3.8Amps in speed 1. Plus change the resistor for one with a more effective thermal fuse.

Problems with my 2006 Zafara heating, melted loom wire that has been replaced and now air conditioning doesn't work. Concerned that car now not safe to drive and unsellable.

A thorough investigation needs to take place into all of the Vauxhall range of cars, this problem is not limited to zafrias....

Wanted a reliably family car, saved our money...and now that car is sat on the driveway. Ok so the car has common faults these i can deal with but an 'unknown' safety risk is unacceptable. Garages are over run with irate customers & they are not inspecting the cars as they don't have parts and are unsure of when they will, use your fan on 4 I say it smells is noisy and doesn't appear to be working properly am now told not to use it. But then can not demist a car with 7 people in it nor warm it on the cold mornings. Added to this as Vauxhall have delayed response scare mongering has hit a peak and other road users are not happy zafiras are on the road let alone parked next to them

Vauxhall, you really need to address this issue with a matter of urgency now! My 08 Zafira had it's resistor and pollen filter changed on Wednesday and today had black smoke and a burning smell coming from the front passenger side. I am terrified and my local dealers are being dismissive. We are losing faith in your company!

To highlight the seriousness.

20 years driving a vauxhall. First a vectra and now a 14 plate zafira purchased new. Was looking for a corsa for the wife. Unless they do a recall in the next few days, I will never go near another vauxhall of any sort. They have our contact details and are quick enough to email offers etc. I have 4 small kids and I think that they are disgusting for not doing an immediate recall and putting lives at risk.
Guest#299 Oct 31, 2015, 13:01
Because the cars are dangerous and I do not want to learn that a child has burned to death in one of them. They should be recalled or fixed free of charge.

Our children's safety should come before profit or inconvenience!!
