Its already costing us soo much for petrol, and costing us an arm n leg for transport anywhere in Gauteng, and NOW to pay for e-Toll? All WE working for is Petrol expenses, this is also going to increase the crime rate, as the working class can not afford it.

Our society wants responsible contribution to build this wonderful country up, it would be irresponsible to allow such a blatant exhibit of poor judgement to prevail. NO to E-Toll, YES to meaningful dialog and proper planning. NO to GREED, YES to HONESTY.

We have to stop the thievery and corruption!
E-tollkiller 007#36 Nov 07, 2013, 06:47
It's not a matter of black & white - we can do it...
We can show the goverment and the President that we can not jump everytime they say jump. DO NOT REGISTER for an etag, we are paying taxes to fix all roads. If e-toll is comming we are the once who's going to pay the goverment/president e-toll fees out of our taxes.
Guest#37 Nov 07, 2013, 11:04
I am totally against the implementation of e-toll this is a disgust to many South Africans who are expected to pay more for the use of our roads when more than 60% of the cost of fuel covers levies such as road accident fund, fixing roads etc. What benefit does e-toll have for us economically struggling South Africans the answer is absolutely nothing. I say NO to e-toll!!!!
Guest#38 Nov 21, 2013, 06:19
We must pay for incompotent spending by the goverment and now we must pay additional for this.
Why? we do not have the money so we are not going to pay for this. They think we are stupid.

Hello my Idiots... erm, i mean South Africans
i dont understand why you are so upset? please pay these e-tolls so that i can build another homestead, just this year i have met another potential 14 wives and we all know that you will need to finance the palaces they will require. if you dont want to pay the money via Sanral, perhaps you wuld want to invest in the New Age newspaper who will ensure that the funds will not only come to me but ensure that my buddies get a piece of your salary too? i mean... you are my idiots..erm i mean citizens, so that i may rule and take from you as i please hehehe, let us all just get along and buy the E-Tags because i already gave these tenders to my friends and now they need their monies so they too can try to keep up with me andmy buddy Shabir hehehe

We should stand together as one. If other countries can do it so can we. We are not happy with the way thing are going. Then we should let them know!
Guest#47 Dec 05, 2013, 21:48
Where did the R45Billion collected for Road Maintenance levy (tax) incorporated in the fuel price when the government changed hands in '94? Was it 'shared' between the Nats & ANC? No-one has been held accountable and where did all the money from fuel sales over the past 191/2 years go. We should have the best roads & highways in the world, all PAID FOR ALREADY with NO POTHOLES ANYWHERE, THIEVES!!!!!!!
Guest#48 Dec 06, 2013, 00:05
Money making scam no e-toll
Guest#49 Dec 10, 2013, 14:05
As drivers and road users of South Africa I confidently say NO to E-Tolls,the drivers are already paying by the toll gates,so why must they still pay E-tolls? Money doesn't grow on trees, the decision makers of parliament should withdraw their decision of E-tolls. Some people are in debt already by paying tax and toll gates and they do not need unnecessary tolls to worsen their debts. Its not everyone who is economically stable
