Its about time HIGHLAND COUNCIL treated CoVASS the same as similar groups they support. Its disgraceful.Who the hell is responsible for making this decision. Why discriminate against women and children in Badenoch and Strathspey?!

It beggers belief that Highland Council think it's ok that Inverness Women's Aid has accumulated £491,000 in savings, due to continual overpayments.
While allowing another group to face closure.
It is high time an external investigation is carried out into why the Highland Council are happy to pour money into an organisation that lost Scottish Executive funding for their children's service 2 years ago in dubious circumstances, at the same time as 13 long time members of staff were forced from their jobs.
