REMOVAL OF ILLEGAL SQUATTERS ON BLACKHILL

I want to live in a safe environment

Very scared of what's happening here. Neighbourhood is going down, and so will property values - as the crime rate escalates!

I lived nearby & love the area & it's a shame to see what's happening there

1. Security risk
2, Littering and degradation of our natural environment
3. health risk

Our moutain bikes were stolen as well as our pram from our car in Capri Village 14 Dominica Avenue.

Because I live in the area and was recently threatened by an assailant at the traffic lights

I want a safe environment for my family. Since the squatters have been there the crime in Capri has increased significantly.

Because I am very concerned about the crime in Capri - have been a victim of it.

I believe that our city has the ability to offer these people decent housing and that nobody should be forced to live like this. We can do better than this. The mountain is not designated urban space for habitation.

We all deserve to live without fear. People should have quality of life and homes that are secure. No matter our race, socio-economic status, gender or religion.

The escalation of crime due to inaction by the authorities has become a serious cause for concern. Our home was also broken into this month.

I am aware of the problems in the area and agree that these squatters need to be removed

To improve safety and security of the neighbourhood

This should be addressed immediately by authorities as it is outright illegal and will no doubt lead to people taking the law into their own hands!

The crime in our beautiful area is totally out of control

These squatters are responsible for crime in Capri.

Why did I sign? Because the world is becoming more and more irreversibly chaotic in the name of being PC, and in the process, the environment, law and order, victims lives are being destroyed. Irretrievably so. Please squatters, go and camp on the front lawns of the politicians who are the ones who have the power to make a difference...that's why they were voted into power . We pay taxes and levies on everything they can think of. We cannot control how they use the money.

Crime is getting completely out of hand and needs to be stopped at the source.

To ensure the safety and security of families and their property located in the area affected by the presence of illegal squatters

Illegal squatting needs to be stopped before it becomes permanent.

As a resident in the area, I dont wish to have the value of my property affected as well as the safety of my family and hard earned possessions put at risk because of these illegal squatters. This cannot be allowed on our beautiful mountains.

It is necessary to protect our families and properties.

I signed this petition because my husband runs there and also I think it's disgusting that no one chucks them out. They have no right to be there at all. .
