Keep_Ray

Great idea, we must do all we can to keep Ray here!

Ray is an important person in the village. He is kind and caring and good at his job. He will go the extra mile for those of us on his rounds if needed to and when we have other postmen doing the rounds I have often had post for a different road through my letter box. Ray is always friendly and smiling and I would be very sorry to lose him as my postman, as will others I know of.

I used to be a postman for over ten years and i know what it's like when I had to tell the people who i delivered for that someone else was taking over due to them working longer for royal mail they like you think that system is stupid system and outdated now

Why can't the "replacement" postman be named? He will have to face Lympstonias if the Union gets its way.
How does the postman in Littleham feel about having to move if he is replaced by Ray?
Come on Royal Mail end all this upset and let Ray stay as the Lympstone postman!

Actually we lympstone people are very happy people :-) and very loyal to our village. Our lives in this village are not empty at all, far from it. Ray has been very loyal to us for 17 years, and wanting someone we trust and like very much to keep the job he wants to keep and we want him to keep is not pathetic and we will help in any way we can, obviously guest 8 has never lived within village community, they obviously don't know how much they are missing.

Ray is a valued member of our community

Recently heard that the union is now trying to prevent Ray from staying.

Not just a postman, he's the eyes and ears of the village.
Stop the rot - this 'management' is mismanagement and now it seems the union is intent on supporting the change.
Both parties need to listen to its customers and back off or the wrath of Lympstone will rain down!

Presumably you don't live in the village and value community spirit and support for valued people.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Clearly Ray contributes to the community enormously. Bureaucracy over humanity, for no apparent good reason.
