I'm sure university Indologists in Russia are well aware of the importance of Bhagavad-gita. To restrict free access to the monumental work, Bhagavad-gita, would be a giant step backwards for freedom of thought and academic excellence in Russsia. |

#30662011-12-19 02:01It is outrageous that the Bhagavad Gita is being outlawed in Russia. The Bhagavad Gita is a globally acknowledged conclusive guide to spiritual realisation for humanity at large. It is a concise explanation of what is the goal of human life. Those who are able to gleam enlightenment from this sacred scripture are indeed of the highest consciousness. Who would consider it a threat or subversive? only those who wish to: Impede freedom of intellectual thought Deny anyone the freedom of expression and those who are intolerant to others rights of worship I pray that the Russian parliment supports our petition to allow the Bhagavad Gita "As it is" to continue to be distributed across Russia.
