The road is in a terrible state of repair and needs urgent attention. I would also ask why the resurfacing of Epsom Lane took priority over Preston Lane . Perhaps larger properties and their owners are better able to influence Council expenditure !!

I live within100 yards of the road and have already complained to the council, the road damage is dangerous, I drive a car plus ride a motorcycle and now try to avoid that stretch of road but it's hard as I live right next to it

The road is abysmal and has been in this condition for a considerable time. It looks as though a gesture was recently made, but the road is still awful with holes and bumps and an excess of large grit and stones damaging car paint work. Shame on the council.

I drive down this road a few times a week and the road is in the worst possible condition as you get out of one pot hole you enter another. I tried to report it myself but thought the road was called Preston Way. Hopefully this diabolical road can be repaired out of this years funding as a matter of urgency before there is a serious accident.

Because I have to drive down the road every time I leave my house it's getting terrible and wrecking people's cars lorries constantly driving up the road to the leisure centre fed up with waiting for the council to do something about it

These roads are just atrocious, I go like 5mph so I don't damage my car and it's so dangerous at night these potholes will seriously cause, an serious accident the worse it gets, and it's only getting worse I don't see them getting fixed anytime soon.

I refer to preston lane as crazy paving. I reported it to the council last year and they said it wasnt dangerous enough.... its a joke!

That road is a disgrace. When my daughter complained about it over a year ago she was told that there were no potholes!!!!

this should have been resurfaced years ago, the temporary repairs are completely unsatisfactory and likely will have cost more than sorting out the problem properly in the first place. Perhaps it would have been seen to more speedily if it were in an rich conservative dominated area.

We have been living in Preston Lane for 10 years and this road has just got worse and worse throughout that time. Why is it all the other surrounding roads have been resurfaced in the last few years, yet Preston Lane has just been filled in on a number of occasions. Come on its time to re-do the road now!
