Because a few of my ancestors and a present grandson are or were serving soldiers. If they are given an order and do not obey it they are court-martialled, now it seems if they do obey their orders they are arrested!! There should be no legal aid available for foreigners to sue our military - that would at least put these shark lawyers off. They try to say they are doing it for 'humanitarian' reasons but if there is no money they will soon disappear.

As a mother of a serving soilder I feel that any case brought against a soilder for doing his job is absolutely disgraceful they are trained to protect and serve our country and are simply doing what they are told to do if they don't do what they are trained and ordered to do they are disobeying orders!!!

I am signing this petition because I believe our troops deserve our support and should not face possible prosecution being brought by greedy lawyers both Iraqi and British. Our troops have had enormous pressure placed upon them due to the pressures of war and have faced atrocities on a daily basis. I believe that our troops deserve the support from our government and should not face prosecution for carrying out their duties.
