Export petition signatures to Excel, PDF or CSV

You can download every signature of your petition at any time, free of charge. Choose an Excel file, a PDF, a CSV file or a printable page. You decide which columns are included, in which order, and which signatures are on the list.

Four formats for different needs

Format Best for
Excel (.xlsx)Sorting, filtering and counting the signatures.
PDFHanding the signatures over to a decision maker. Works well with long lists.
CSVImporting the signatures into other software.
Printable pagePrinting the list, or saving it as a PDF with your browser. Can show the full petition text above the signatures.

How to download the signatures

  1. Open your petition and choose Print the signatures in the petition menu.
  2. Choose which signatures to include: all of them, or only the signatories who agreed to a specific purpose, such as handing their signature over to a named decision maker.
  3. Select the columns and drag them into the order you want.
  4. Choose the file format. For Excel and PDF you can add a password.
  5. Confirm how you will handle the signatories' personal data, and download the file.

Only the signatures you are allowed to use

Signatories decide separately for each purpose you defined, for example handing over their signature to the decision maker or receiving updates. When you download the list for one of these purposes, it includes only the people who agreed to it. That keeps your use of the data within what the signatories accepted.

Protect the file with a password

A signature list is personal data. Excel and PDF files can be encrypted with AES-256, so the file opens only with the password you choose. Excel asks for the password itself, and PDF readers do the same. Send the password separately from the file.

Your team can download too

If you manage the petition together with others, you can give a team member the right to print and download the signatures. Team members without that right cannot download the list.
