$50,000 Student Loan Forgiveness will not just alleviate stress but it will make strides toward closing the racial wealth gap. Nearly 85% of Black bachelor’s degree recipients carry student debt, compared with 69% of White bachelor’s degree recipients, according to the Center for Responsible Lending. Let’s not just be bystanders but rather change agents. Congress we the people, after a year of hardship for all, many are left in financial turmoil.
