WE, THE UNDERSIGNED, BELIEVE THAT LINNETTE ROBINSON’S INVOLUNTARY TRANSFERS ARE ACTS OF RETALIATION AGAINST A UNION REPRESENTATIVE WHO SPEAKS UP ON BEHALF OF OTHERS.
The BCCE union’s contract CBA 17.7.6 states: “Involuntary transfers shall not be used for punitive, arbitrary, or capricious reasons or in place of proper evaluation.”
The Berkeley Unified School District has violated Linnette Robinson’s union contract already twice this 2022-2023 school year with two no process involuntary transfers.
We demand that Linnette Robinson’s most recent involuntary transfer be rescinded.
