Achieving efficiency and accountability in the law making process

Hello, we are a group of Year 2 Taylor's University Law Students focusing on the topic of the Legislature in Malaysia and its functions. We are here to suggest several potential reforms that can be made to provide a better system for the country; that would be achieving efficiency and accountability in the law making process.Malaysia-Government-1.png

We propose to have mandatory professional specialists in the Select Committee as an additional input, reform the whip system by codifying under the Standing Order of the Dewan Rakyat and methods to enhance the efficiency of the parliamentary debates.
