In these times when businesses are not allowed have customers inside some common sense needs to be applied and let businesses try to keep going or get going again. It’s not forever so let’s just make it work for now.Robert Merrick (Bandon , 2020-06-01)

I believe no harm is being done by allowing outdoor seating at responsible cafes. It's in the cafe owners best interest to keep standards up which I trust they will.
Common sense must prevail!

It was wonderful to see photos of people enjoy their food from Cracked across the road from the cafe. It made the town look alive... it’s a pity to hear that business are not allowed have outdoor seating used, dispute the business disinfecting then. However you can sit and eat on one of the many Council park benches and picnic benches around town, even though these are not regularly cleaned and god knows what could be found on them.Deirdre Murray (Crookstown formerly Bandon, 2020-06-01)

We need to get the country's economy up and running again. This is a safe method of providing an income for cafes while allowing the general public to enjoy a coffee in a sanitised 'social distancing' environmentMaureen Power (Bandon, 2020-06-01)
