Это абсурдное решение продавливается в суде с упорством, достойным лучшего применения. В ходе трех судебных слушаний экспертиза, на основании
которой начался процесс, была признана <<несостоятельной>>. Но прокуратура потребовала
заказать новую экспертизу, причем не у признанных ученых-востоковедов, а у никому не известных сотрудников Кемеровского Государственного
Университета.
Все это наводит на мысли о предрешенности исхода суда. Эта практика напоминает средневековые судилища, костры из книг и преследования диссидентов во
время советской власти в России.
Уполномоченный по правам человека в Томской области, видные ученые-востоковеды, представители Общественной палаты России, посольства Индии, индийской
общины и простые люди, относящиеся к разным конфессиям, уже высказали свое недоумение
действиями Томской прокуратуры.
Мы требуем прекратить суд над священным писанием!

Throughout History one will always find Hinduism to be a very very tolerant, open-minded, compassionate religion preaching non-violence, brotherhood and peace in the world...And this is because its roots are based on Bhagvad Gita. And as evidence one can find today open religious practices like Muslim, Christianity, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism etc. apart from Hinduism being followed in India. So it is totally absurd if one claims that the teachings of Bhagvad Gita preaches 'extremism' and allegedly 'sowing' social-discord in Russia.

Устраивать суд над Бхагавад-гитой - это полный абсурд. Такие вещи не судить надо, а тщательно изучать и учиться мудрости. Очень обидно, что такое происходит в нашей стране.
