As people of Russia has been always supportive for the cultural growth with exchange of noble principles, I hope and request the scholars to look into the prospects of what ISKCON has given to their society instead of pointing out the differences of two great religions Christianity and Hinduism. Integration is the key here, not differentiation. We have high confidence on Russian authority to condiser the matter with a view of win win situation for both the countries, their people and cultures to co-exist in the largest country in the planet.

Please do not ban Bhagvat Gita. it is really a book for the whole universe

I was forwarded the details of this petition by a Russian academic and am VERY shocked: it's no news to many of us that laws and courts in that otherwise-great country're somewhat pliable and prone to abuse; however, this case has overstepped all boundaries of modern configurations of religious freedom: I mean, even countries like Iran don't seek to ban interpretations of a Holy Book that has 1,25-plus-billion followers! This's a test for Russia: stop these demented prosecutors or slip into an abyss from which return's very, VERY tough...

It is absurd to term Bhagvatgita as a Racial material.

I am a regular Gita reader. It changes my nasty lifestyle.I committed so many sinful activities.But now after reading Gita i am so far from sinful activities.So I suggest all human being to read the holly scripture Gita.

How can these people be so narrow minded

The Gita teaches to rise above dualities such as hot and cold or pleasure and pain. This includes rising above apathy and extremism. So extremism is not included in teachings of Gita.

Plz dont ban this holy book it shows us the right way & not the wrong one, so wats harm in it

yes it is true i have learnt and known about russia and india relation is closest relation of any 2 country we have been helping each other from years it is because we have believe in each other holy book teaches for humanity..we are bound with our relation..we must continue with this hope.

The Manuscript Bhagvad Gita has been in existence atleast 5000Years, much before the Bible was written and excepted by the Christians and all the other religions around the world,and it is unfortunate a few people in Tomsk area are trying to hurt the feelings of 700million Indians who believe in THE GITA which has been written by the GODS and Goddesses in it.We all need to be tolerant to all the religions and accept and respect them

1.Почему всё на английском и история события отсутствует.Где официальное письмо руководства ИСККОН?
2. Задействуйте дипломатические рычаги - посольство Индии и т. п.- кто хочет крупного скандала - его получит.
3. Обязательно независимых экспертов - с таким успехом можно любой текст засудить - Ветхий Завет например, или Евангелие.
4. В ИСККОН и дружественных миссиях должны быть грамотные юристы - у нас ведь светское государство, надо с правовыми институтами поработать лучше.
