This is a very good initiative, to defend the great age old scripture and epic of all times- Bhagavat Gita. The holy book and its message of truth and love needs to be spread around the world to unite human kind and not banned. It is equivalent to banning Bible. We should never let this happen.

Hare Krishna movement is founded on 4 regulative principles one of which is no meat eating. We try to nurture unconditional love for God and His parts and parcels which includes humans and other living entities alike. Where is the room for violence? In the past 45 years of this movement all over the world there was no incidence of violence from the devotees of Hare Krishna!
Please see these evidence and study our scriptures with that picture in mind then everything will be clear.

Bhagwat Gita is a literature which does not talk about any relegion, it talks about the duty of the mankind irrespective of any relegion. A literature which instructs to improve the quality of life of a living being should made compulsury rather banning it.

This is a malicious attempt and Bagavat Gita propounds peace and to view every species of life (not even just humans) as equal. Indian government must do something immediately to stop this.

Bhagavat Gita conveys the message from Supreme personality of Godhead on how to get eternal freedom and peace for mankind from material world. These eternal scriptures are above any court of law to ban it.
What kind of democracy is this.

The Bhagavat Gita as it is is the most authoritative Hindu scripture. It should be widely distributed and available to all, as this will lead to great peace and prosperity to all. It has a non sectarian message of universal love and brotherhood.

Banning a mainstream religious Scripture in Russia just because it happens not to be Christian seems to me as tyranical as it was for former USSR to ban world scriptures altogether. And how does the Russian leaders think they may get away with such an insult to the Hindus, and indeed to India Itself?

Если следовать логике суда, то получается, что все жители Индии, и не только, - экстремисты?! Это суд не просто над книгой, а над всеми, кто ее признает, над миллионами людей. Этот суд развязывает межрелигиозный конфликт, и те, кто его затеял, и являются экстремистами. Это их нужно судить!

i beg the russians that Bagavad Gita was given to us by the Lord he himself ,we may call him in different names Allah ,Jesus ,Krsna but it is sure that these are words of god.Please don't take this as a religious book but a book of purifying human life,which says don't eat non-veg food,avoid illicit sex ,don't gamble,avoid Drugs.These makes human life good.Hare Krishna

Слов нет...лучше бы конституцию со всеми возможными кодексами запретили,вот уж где бумага бессмысленно используется,еще и с печатью экстремизма подлинного.Пытаться отнять у человека веру....уроды
