IOM FA and MIFA
I can not see any downside to the IOM FA allowing it’s players to play for MIFA in tournaments outside of the IOM FA’s own regular season. From what I can gather, the IOM FA have not been asked to provide anything - except for a simple promise that they will not punish Isle of Man based players for wanting to improve themselves, which in turn can only be good for the IOM FA in the long run. Surely, if the players are exposed to a higher standard of opposition (on a more regular basis than they are presently) then the standard of the IOM FA competitions will rise once these players (and backroom staff) return with lessons learned and skills enhanced? Where is the problem here?
