The place is habitat for much wildlife. We need to save wildlife habitats not destroy them as they are important in the ecosystem. Why spoil something beautiful. The whole reason people visit places is for such beautiful things.

I want this very important beautiful open space which is used by people from all over Ynys Môn and beyond to remain accessible to all. It is a much loved and used local area of beauty and nature.

I wholeheartedly agree with this online petition.
Land and Lakes planning application should be withdrawn due to a lack of consultation with the public. The permission to discharge conditions should be brought to a halt.
The continuation of missing documentation through this whole process is very concerning.
The whole planning application in all forms for Kingsland/CaeGlas/Penrhos Holyhead has a duty to be ‘Called In’ and re-evaluated due to lack of information, plus lack of transparency by the Developers Land&Lakes/Bluestone and Isle of Anglesey County Council.
The main concerns being the development is unacceptable in terms of:
1. Transparency.
2. Missing documentation.
3. Character of our Welsh Heritage Coastline.
4. The effect of our green spaces/Amenity
5. Effect on designated conservation areas AONB/SSSI
6. The two sites Kingsland/Cae Glas will not be utilised. (No Wylfa N.P./Horizon Contractors)
7. The development plan has changed.
8. The policy should follow the National planning policy Wales framework.
9. Overdevelopment of site.
10. Overbearing, out of scale, and out of character with the nature and site.
11. A higher standard of design since original permission.
12. Impact on Landscape.
13. Highway safety.
14. Breach of Policy-Joint local development plan that has since been adopted 31 July 2017 for a 15 year period.

This situation is deplorable, such a beautiful place cannot be allowed to be destroyed. There are far too many tourist accommodations in Wales

This is our sanctuary. This park has helped my mental health over the years and particularly this year. It is important for families to stroll together er, children to learn about wildlife and friends to meet up. An important green area with trees and wildlife we cannot lose

Elizabeth Breen (Manchester , 2021-03-04)

This is such an important area for wildlife and the people who live around the nature reserve. It's been proven that these types of open spaces are vital for our wellbeing and mental health. To deprive us of this is scandalous.

Rachel Anderson (Anglesey, 2021-03-04)

Ancient British landscapes are becoming ever rarer, with the fauna and flora they contain. Red Squirrels have become seriously threatened in the UK and we cannot allow an place that they reside to be altered in any way. This planning application must be rejected.

Alexander Abrams (Wellington , 2021-03-04)

#1440

In the name of Eco friendly, this land will be destroyed in order to build lodges for families! It’s great for people to walk this unspoilt beautiful countryside! Not for a company to destroy it for gain!!!

Sandy Mears (Acton, 2021-03-04)

I'm a trustee of a nearby Wildlife Trust and seeing this potential loss of diversity and even species makes me weep. For goodness sake wake up to what's happening in the natural world and look after it safely!

Katie Foster (Newport, 2021-03-04)

#1461

Penrhos is an area loved and appreciated for its history, it's nature and its accessibility for all those who visit. No need for such a development that will affect so mañy people and their enjoyment of the area

Angela Hennessey (Beaumaris, 2021-03-04)

#1462

I have visited Anglesey a number of times and the beautiful, varied landscape should be protected.

Rosemary Vickers (London, 2021-03-04)

Jenny Bowle (CHESTER, 2021-03-04)

#1470

We need to preserve this beautiful area and it’s occupants. Our wildlife is becoming extinct.

Jess Hale (Haverhill, 2021-03-04)

#1471

I’m signing because me,my partner and my three children have been visiting here for the past 5 years at least 3 times a year since my mum and dad moved to valley , we spend 3/4 of our holiday time at penrhos nature park and have so many amazing memories there and it has been a safe haven and amazing place to be for my children whilst they have grown up and even in our difficult times , as we live in a city when we are visiting penrhos they all so happy and feel free , I think it would be absolutely devastating for this absolutely amazing place to go and think it would be so so cruel to all the nature and people who find this place as a haven to go to when they are feeling low .

Nutsy Natalie Hodgson (Oldham, 2021-03-04)

#1476

I believe that planning should not have been passed where there are wildlife who's habitat will be lost. Also the ancient woodland which is enjoyed by so many people.

Lynne Ingham (Gwynedd , 2021-03-04)

#1477

We need to protect these special woodland nature reserves , this area is enjoyed by many many families , including mine . We have been visiting for many years now and the flora & fauna is amazing , it would be a terrible Shame to develop the area with 500 holiday cabins !

Carol Polhill (Cheshire, 2021-03-04)

#1479

It's a place I have been going to for the last 40 years and I would hate to see it built on, beauty destroyed and wildlife run out of there.

Jeanette Costello (Wirral, 2021-03-04)

#1485

Penrhos Nature Reserve/Park Is a special place and no development should be allowed.

Barry Scaffold (Ivybridge , 2021-03-04)

#1494

Penrhos is a very special place for many types of animals and plants. It is a red squirrel reserve and home to many land and sea birds.
Destroying such a unique place would be wrong. We need to save places like this to help preserve our natures habitats.
Penrhos is a well loved nature reserve and asset to the area.

Caroline Williams (Knutsford, 2021-03-05)

#1495

Theres not enough space left to roam

Karen Peacock (Trefnant , 2021-03-05)

#1502

A beautiful place should not be destroyed.

Emma Waterhouse (Greater Manchester , 2021-03-05)

#1503

Nature needs to be saved

Thomas Whitley (Wrexham, 2021-03-05)

#1506

Nothing should spoil the beauty of the current nature reserve, especially in these uncertain times

Lucy Cockburn-Powell (Rotherham , 2021-03-05)

#1511

It is a disgrace to destroy ancient trees for a group of holiday lets. There are more suitable places, with no trees etc, that actually need developing and trees can be planted there after development.
Anglesey is pretty much devoid of trees, nature’s lungs, so please don’t take away the few we have, as well as prevent locals and visitors from being able to visit and enjoy the glorious park!

Barns Wright (Amlwch, 2021-03-05)

#1513

It’s been one of my favourite places on Anglesey for 50 yrs, I’ve been going since I was a child. How can anyone consider building on this particular spot when there are so many other options. It’s shameful.

Kate McLean (Poynton, 2021-03-05)

#1514

Bywyd gwyllt heb llais ei hyn.

Gwen Thomas (Llandwrog , 2021-03-05)

#1516

Nature reserves are slowly eroding from many pressures including economic development. Areas like this supply premium sites yes, but destroys one of our islands great assets while there are alternatives.

Jane Davies (Holyhead, 2021-03-05)

#1523

the publ ;ic are being fool ed by clever company tricks Penrhos nature Reserve is a designated site of
special scientific interest and in fact was bequethed to the people of Holyhead for their enjoyment by LORD STANLEY
it is a magical place. Plus Anglesey does not
need a holiday complex causing massive traffic problems & extra wear & tear on the "COB" this is madness & could cause a Massive
DISASTER

Teresa Keegan (Amlwch, 2021-03-05)

#1524

Destruction of this habitat would be criminal

Charles Clarke (llanfechell, 2021-03-05)

#1527

As a family we come to Anglesey every year for two weeks. We try to leave nothing but footprints or a contribution to the local economy. There are so many unspoilt places on Anglesey and it is very important that they remsin unspoilt. More holiday lodges do not make up for the risk to the red squirrels.

I grew up seeing red squirrels in my garden in Chester but now I have to come to Anglesey in the hope of seeing one. Please do not reduce their habitat further by allowing this development. you go ahead.

Linda Arnold-Stratford (Sherburn In Elmet, Leeds, 2021-03-05)

#1528

We need to keep these places safe and protected. We are losing outstanding places of beauty!

Julia Hesketh-Fox (Whitchurch, 2021-03-05)

#1535

I never see a beautiful forest and site like this one. It's important to save old forest like this, all those beautiful trees are SO Important for the health our world, all the biodiversity and us..

Delphine Poncelet (Namur, 2021-03-05)

#1541

It’s a beautiful area and shouldn’t be spoilt!

Anne Collen (Malahide, 2021-03-05)

#1545

All wildlife need protecting. Why bother introducing the Red squirrels to Anglesey if you are going to destroy one of their habitats?! Please keep this special place.

Patricia Roberts (Shifnal , 2021-03-05)

#1549

It’s a beauty and I would like to make the same childhood memories there with my daughter as I have myself

Lucy Scott (Allschwil, 2021-03-05)

#1551

I love the largely unspoilt quality of Angelsey.

Lynda Nelson (BARNSTAPLE, 2021-03-05)

#1552

To save penrhos nature reserve

Kathleen Davis (Manchester, 2021-03-05)

#1557

I'm signing because transparency of planning decisions is critical in ensuring the right level of scrutiny and debate is held. Mistakes happen otherwise that can blight an area for several generations.

Susie Compton (West Linton, 2021-03-05)

#1559

This is a beautiful part of Anglesey which will bring people to the area without having to destroy it's nature. This is why people come to the beautiful island in the sea. My homeland!

Tula Brown (Liskeard, 2021-03-05)

#1564

Save our special spaces because once they are built on, they will be gone forever

Theresa Fox-Byrne (Denbigh, 2021-03-05)

#1571

We should be preserving areas of natural beauty and red squirel habitats

Anna Everett (Wrexham, 2021-03-05)

#1576

I’m signing because the destruction of this beautiful reserve, it’s flora, fauna and habitat to so many species, endangered and otherwise is totally abhorrent. Why destroy one of the most loved and beautiful open spaces in the Holyhead area which so many locals and visitors alike enjoy, for the sake of a few jobs?Shame on all the developers for wanting to destroy all of this for the sake of lining their pockets!

Annabel Kearney (Holyhead, 2021-03-05)

I'm signing because we go to Anglesey quite a lot (a number of time a year), one of the places we visit is Penrhos. It's a beautiful part of the world and a wonderful nature reserve. Haven't we built on enough green land. Please leave it alone

Christine Abrathat (Liverpool , 2021-03-05)

#1580

I want to visit the nature reserve in years to come, I dont want to see buildings in its place

Donna Austin (Cemaes, 2021-03-05)

#1581

I love this place,, it should be saved. It makes anglesey for me and many others

Cath Harding (St.helens, 2021-03-05)

#1587

This is an amazing area of natural beauty. To many of these areas are being decimated to make way for greedy developers, who care nothing about the wildlife, natural life or the way of life that has been in place here, undisturbed for many many years.

Mike Harris (Liverpool , 2021-03-05)

#1588

We regularly holiday at Treaddur Bay and use Penrhos country park on a daily basis

Mike Norton (Stockport, 2021-03-05)

This nature reserve is precious - i know it. Transparency and responsibility thats what we need.
