It is so important to start learning early we need as many resources as possible to provide choice

I believe this matter is important enough to be considered seriously at this time and we need more writings like these to be more widely available.

I totally support black authors and people trying to be treated equally. It is very useful to have a children's book about blacks in Britain. Or anywhere else Britain went to during their colonial times.

All UK children need to learn African-British history, just as all children here in the USA need to learn African American history. There can be no real understanding of the history of either nation, let alone any hope for future progress of society, without knowledge of the history of their respective Black populations.

I am a bookseller. One of our specialties is multicultural children's books. We sold many copies of this book, and look forward to selling many more. It is urgently needed.

A book like this should be in print - I would buy copies for my friends' children

Our children should have been learning this YEARS ago, hesitation to publish is anathema.

What children read and learn about contributes greatly to their wider understanding of the world and the roles they play in bringing about the future world.
