Request for a Postcode Change for Silens Works, 29 Peckover Street, Bradford (BD1 5BD)

The residents of Silens Works, 29 Peckover Street, Bradford (BD1 5BD) would like to request their own postcode, as over one hundred properties and businesses currently share the same postcode.

This has led to repeated misdeliveries, lost packages, and difficulties for emergency services and couriers in locating our building. In several instances, residents have had disputes with delivery drivers who insist they have delivered items correctly, even though the GPS directs them to entirely different locations—often to the middle of the road rather than our actual address.

We, the undersigned residents and supporters, are calling on Royal Mail’s Address Management Unit to assign a distinct postcode to Silens Works, 29 Peckover Street.

Reliable mail and parcel delivery, as well as GPS accuracy, are essential for our safety, convenience, and business operations. Having our own postcode will resolve these ongoing and inconvenient issues.

We request that Royal Mail prioritise this change of postcode at the earliest opportunity.
