A Knighthood for Captain Tom for his 100th birthday

This man has raised, at the time of writing over 12 million pounds for NHS charities by walking up and down his garden 100 times - one for each year of his life. He has lifted spirits and encouraged people to stay home to protect the NHS. A knighthood as his 100th birthday gift from the nation would be a wonderful gift.

A pay rise for ALL Private Sector Carers

As private sector carers, we are the ones most at risk as we are visiting the elderly in their own homes and we are not being recognised for this. We are earning minimum wage for putting ourselves more at risk than the NHS. Without us private sector carers, the elderly will go weeks or months without seeing one single person so we want our salaries to rise and to be recognised. We have very little PPE and can be out working from 7am straight through til 10pm or even later. And for what?? £8.72 p

Stop 5G being installed now.

What damage is there on the 5G Network, What Health Risks is there? Taken together, this means 5G will lead to an exponential increase in human exposures to EMF radiation at frequencies that have never been used in consumer applications before. These exposures are not only unprecedented. They are also untested. There have been no surveys to indicate the levels of 5G EMF radiation to which people will be exposed. 5G is a type of EMF radiation. And other research has demonstrated that EMF is genot

Goverment funding for Charities

There are numerous charities that are reliant on public funding, such as Sue Ryder.  These charities normally go about their FANTASTIC work relying mainly on the generosity of the British public to fund their amazing work.  With the Corona virus stopping all charitable fund raisers and charity shops unable to open their doors they are currently facing a huge dilemma and although these incredible staff are daily risking their own life to bring medical and emotional support to people when they are

Cancel JULY-SEPTEMBER classes!!!! Make them ONLINE assessments.

The plan presented by GLION on the 30th of March is ineffective, unrealistic and unethical as it does not take into account the students that are unable financially to meet these requirements to either pay for student accomodation again or pay for extra living expenses (for months that were not planned ahead). Many student visas are terminated in June. Going back in July will provide students with no further learning outcomes considering that students have been studying these subjects since Febru

Save 'The Mid' (Tonypandy) for Community Use NOT Housing Development.

We, the undersigned, believe the Mid Rhondda Athletic Field, known locally as 'the Track' should be preserved and utilised for use by our local community. This is an iconic site that has played a central role in Tonypandy and the Rhondda's history. It was gifted to the local authority back in 1931 with strict covenants in place to ensure it could only ever be used for educational purposes. There are already enough housing developments in the immediate area and we believe that the destruction of

Shave carlys head

Hi guys so I'm starting this petition for a really good cause, it's one that is very close to my heart aswell as most of my friends' hearts too. We feel that the torture of Carly not shaving her head during lockdown has gone on long enough and we are here to change that. I'm trying to gather as many signatures as possible to enable further happiness in my group of friends at this troubling time.

An Open Letter to the Proctors, regarding the Timetabling of Exams

Dear Proctors.   We are writing to you at this busy time on one central issue: the timetabling of exams. Other letters have outlined a variety of student concerns that we hope you will take into account and this letter is by no means presented in lieu of other very reasonable requests for your consideration. Furthermore, this letter addresses a general cause beyond the specific matters of the SU's consultation paper.   One issue that has been universally faced by undergraduate Oxford Students is
