Save 'The Mid' (Tonypandy) for Community Use NOT Housing Development.

We, the undersigned, believe the Mid Rhondda Athletic Field, known locally as 'the Track' should be preserved and utilised for use by our local community. This is an iconic site that has played a central role in Tonypandy and the Rhondda's history. It was gifted to the local authority back in 1931 with strict covenants in place to ensure it could only ever be used for educational purposes. There are already enough housing developments in the immediate area and we believe that the destruction of

Reassess the stance on Level 5, 6 and Post-Graduate Assessments

The aim of this petition is to present it to the Senior Management Team at Canterbury Christ Church University following their correspondence relating to the assessments of level 5 and higher students: "For Level 5, Level 6 and Postgraduates this means assessments will continue, albeit in an alternative form with existing assessment deadlines remaining in place where possible." Whilst the current situation is completely unprecedented, it is also an unfair assumption that current students can com

Hey gang, as I’m sure you all know - our next instalment of rent is due on the 18th of January and Theatre and Social Change don't think its fair or right for any student not currently in CC to have to pay the sum of £2,800 for a room that sits empty. Belstone to Okehampton College Transport Appeal

Although Devon County Council provides a school bus from Belstone visitor car park to Okehampton College, not all children living in Belstone village are considered eligible to use the bus.   This is because Devon County Council has previously determined that some houses in the village are within a three-mile walking distance of the College because children could walk along Market Lane.  Local residents who know the area are aware that, as it is today, this route is completely unsuitable for chi

To keep black trainers for academic year at TCC

For any parents whose children attends TCC we have now been informed that the uniform policy has been updated yet again, banning black trainers to be worn in school. Parents feel there has been some miscommunication from the school and many of us have spent money on new black trainers for their children to wear which was previously allowed and stated on the website and verbally from teachers before the end of last term. TCC parents are fully on board with new policies from the school and will al

Residential parking in Newquay

Please sign this petition to ask our council, to put up temporary parking signs in Newquay's residential areas. The signs would welcome visitors but politely ask them to use the car parks and avoid residential streets during Covid. This would allow visitor numbers to be controlled without harming tourism. It would also protect the residents and allow them to safely carry on with their daily lives and work. It gives a message of controlled welcome.

Give Norwegian equal treatment as other airlines in distributing Covid19 aid

We now see time and time again how the Nordic countries governments either change or set stricter terms for Norwegian in relation to other airlines. Norwegian has the same right to aid as the others. Now the various authorities in Sweden, Denmark and Norway are changing the rules of the game with a pretext that Norwegian has put itself in its own crisis. The Corona crisis is extraordinary and no companies are exempt from this crisis. Norway is the leading company with focus on environmentally fr
