Mr. President, Mr. Prime Minister, We appeal to you not to participate in the events related to the 24th Winter Olympic Games, which are to take place in communist China in 2022. Not far from the Olympic Village, there are concentration camps and prisons for political opponents of the totalitarian regime. The people of Poland have been respected for centuries for standing up for freedom, not only their own but also someone else's. The motto "For our freedom and yours" and the ethos of the "Solida

The small community of East Jevington on the C40 road has several Equine stable yards, and many horses use this area especially around Green Lane.. Vehicles have been monitored by Willingdon community Speed Watch Group travelling in excess of 55mph in this 30mph zone. The residents of the Parish of Willingdon and Jevington ask East Sussex County Council to place a Speed hump just before the entrance of Green Lane to help reduce the speed of traffic before a very serious accident occurs. Nightclub

I sign this petition to ask Lewisham Council to deny Original Jerk Bites Ltd. a late night drinking and music licence. I do not want a nightclub/late night drinking establishment on Bellingham Road. As a resident of Bellingham Road I feel this proposal will cause a continuous disturbance to our peaceful street.

Better access to Student Union funds

We want our societies to thrive into the future and continue putting on fantastic events for sutdents. We cannot do this without direct access to the money that  societies raise through fundraising.   Societies and student groups around the UK have bank accounts and cards which allow them to fund trips, NGB qualifications, nights away and bigger events.    However, at the University of Cumbria student groups and societies do not have direct funds that they have earned or worked hard to build up.

No on street household bins in Haghill and Dennistoun

There is a plan by Glasgow City Council to move some of the household bins from back courts onto the front of properties. These bins will take up parking spaces and cause issues for people/kids crossing roads.  They will be a target for vandalism and arson. They will overflow and there will be bins lying in the street which will encourage fly tipping.  The rats will be moved to the front of properties. The bins will stink right in front of peoples houses.  This was a happening in certain closes

Ban Single-Use Plastic by 2025

Plastic is a man-made invention that has generated significant benefits for society, and even in some cases, the environment. Unfortunately, the way industry and governments have managed plastics and the way society has converted it into a disposable and single-use commodity transformed this innovation into a disaster. This is a pledge for our planet. Let’s stop plastics choking our oceans – and harming people and nature! We will submit this petition with 1,000 signatures to the United Nations
