THANK YOU for signing our petition to Save Swallows Meadow.  Now that the developers have announced their intention to build a supermarket and 40 homes on the site, an ADDITIONAL PETITION has been launched, which I hope you might also consider signing.  The wording is: “ We oppose plans to build a supermarket and 40 homes in designated countryside off Meldreth Way in Lower Earley. This is a highly unsuitable location for this proposed high-density development for several reasons: the destruction of wildlife habitats, traffic, flooding, noise and change to the character of the area.”  It can be found at   https://www.wokinghamlibdems.org.uk/meadow
